In partnership with the United Planet and in collaboration with the department of Social Work at the Salahaddin University-Erbil and the school of Public Health at the Boston University, Peace & Freedom Organization has started a virtual and cultural exchange program for students of the components from the United States of America and Iraq. The program intends to share stories and build a bridge between youths from the two countries during the COVID-19 outbreak. 120 youths from the different states in the U.S and different provinces in Iraq will have a weekly virtual meeting for two months. The participants of the program will discuss issues related to public health during COVID-19 and how spreading this disease has affected communities negatively and people and authorities responded differently. This course is designed to educate youth and develop their skills to ensure that they are positive role players to raise public awareness within their communities.
