Musawah Nineveh team and the Peace and Freedom Organization, held a trip to Mar Behnam Monastery in Nimrud - AlHamdaniya district on 24th March 2021

The trip aims for interfaith coexistence, where had been visit the monastery of the two martyrs Behnam and his sister Sarah, and there they were welcomed by the monastery's shepherd, who in his turn took them on a tour in the monastery and explained its history.

later, had been hold a discussion session on the challenges of religious coexistence in Nineveh. The session was followed by sending messages of peaceful coexistence, rejecting discrimination between all religions and living in peace and freedom without discrimination, and end of the visit was to the Grand Mosque in the district.

Knowing the participants were from different religions and areas of Nineveh.
