Peace and Freedom Organization within the project of Energizing reform conducted a webinar to discuss the importance of legislating a law to protect diversity and prevent discrimination.

The webinar included asking a questions about the importance of this legal suggestion and the extent of its positive impact if its enactment, and how many legal guarantees contained in this draft to claim the rights of society.

The session was held on April 22, 2021, in the presence of Mr. Qusay Abbas, representative of the Shabak quota in the Iraqi parliament and the head of the parliamentary human rights committee in the Iraqi parliament, Khader Domali - a member of the Peace Studies Center at the University of Dohuk and director and the Independent Media Organization, and Jamil Al-Jamil - a journalist and civil activist, And also with the participation of a group of civil society members from Mosul and Hamdaniya.
