
On Sunday 9, 2021, the Soran Youth Council held its third meeting in the presence of council members, observers of the Peace and Freedom Organization, the mayor of Soran district, the director of the Soran Community Police Department and civil society organizations.
In general, young people in Kurdistan come first to go to cafeterias to spend their time, so the meeting discussed a number of reasons why young people are addicted to cafeterias, including;
- Having a high unemployment rate.
- The bad economic situation of young people.
- Bad mental state of youth.
- Not hiring students who graduate from universities and institutes.
- non-Providing jobs for young people.
During the meeting, the mayor of Soran district gave a summary of his speech, which mentioned some necessary procedures, including;
- Gathering all organizations and councils to discuss how to move Soran and its surroundings forward.
He also talked about misusing the cafeteria itself, which means cafeterias are having cigarettes and cigarettes, as well as having women in cafeterias to encourage young people to go to cafeterias more.
