For the purpose of exchanging ideas and familiarity with the important issues related to human rights, and the latest updates to the proposed draft laws, a delegation from the Peace and Freedom Organization payed a visit to the KRI Parliament and met with to the Committee of the Social Affairs and Human Right protection on 6-12-2021.


The representatives of the organization presented a summary of its complementary and ongoing projects in the region and in the Iraqi governorates, where the members of the delegation presented brochures, studies, reports of the products and results of the aforementioned projects for the committee in order to benefit from them and select a group of them as an agenda for common interests and future projects.

A section of the meeting was devoted to talk about the advocacy campaign for the “No to Impunity” project, which is implemented by the Peace and Freedom Organization with the support of “Impunity Watch”

Carrying out joint projects and activities wherever opportunities are favorable, especially those related to human rights, transitional justice, labor laws and the foreign labor law.
