Peace and Freedom Organization in Erbil held a two-day workshop on lack of youth participate in the Iraqi elections with the participation of (30) young men and women from the provinces and representatives of The Iraqi Ministry of Youth and Sports, where the most important reasons leading to the lack of participation of young people in the elections were discussed including , political, economic and social factors, adressing the causes and problems and the most important recommendations that will enhance the civil and political participation of young people through a detailed report will be shared with the concerned authorities in this regard, and it is worthy to mention that this activity comes within the project of widening the space for Civil society organizations and Youth which is implemented by Peace and Freedom organization in partnership with Norwegian People's Aid and funded by the Swedish International Agency for Development.
