For the purpose of exchanging views and being familiar with the important files related to linking the policy of forced displacement to the Anfal process and the situation of victims and survivors of women from a gender perspective, a delegation from the Peace and Freedom Organization visited on 12/14/2021, the adviser of General Board for KRG areas outside the region authority Mrs. Adalat Omar.
At the meeting, the organization presented a summary of its complementary and ongoing projects in the region and in the Iraqi governorates.

Part of the meeting was devoted to a mutual conversation about the campaign to advocate for the "No to Impunity" project, which is implemented by the Peace and Freedom Organization with the support of Impunity Watch International ORG.

The meeting ended with a consensus of both sides on:
Carrying out joint projects and activities wherever opportunities are favorable, especially related to the proven information about forced displacement in the Anfal genocide military process and the status of victims and survivors of women from a gender perspective. Valuable information was exchanged and added to the report on the file of genocide (Anfal).

Mrs. Adalat Omar, in addition to her position as an advisor of General Board for KRG areas outside the region authority she is also a writer and has written three books on Anfal and many other academic and field research and articles on Anfal.
