The Nineveh Women’s Team (Nainawaiat), in cooperation with the College of Education for Girls and within the transformative Justice project that Peace and Freedom Organization is implementing.

A celebration been conducted on the occasion of the International Women’s Day, March 8, in the presence of the President of the University, Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, a representative of the Nineveh Operations Command, the women leaders, and a wonderful group of female teachers who had made their mark at the University of Mosul.

The celebration included a set of activities, including a short panel discussion on the role of women in achieving transformative/restorative justice and the importance of their participation in all political, social and economic fields, and a presentation of the success story of a young Mosulian painter who defied all difficult circumstances to achieve her dream by participating in a local and international exhibitions.
