‏Peace and freedom organization has completed the Gender sensitive reporting training at Erbil on 13th of March,2022.

‏With participation of 16 male and female journalists from southern provinces of Iraq, In the training , various topics were discussed in the field of gender, such as (The status of gender in media, the types of features, the steps to prepare media contents, dealing with gender sensitivite issues in social Media, forms of reporting according to the recent development in the media) with several other topics related to media and gender.

‏The aim of this training was to empower journalists to "write press reports, develop gender practices, and give more importance to gender issues during their work.

‏ This activity is a part of "Our Voices* project, which is being implemented by the Peace and Freedom Organization in partnership with Internews and with the financial support of Swedish SIDA in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
