In the frame of the JISRA’s project, Peace and Freedom Organization has been conducting a serious of Interfaith Dialogue Sessions in Kirkuk governorate.

After organizing the first session with Christians, the second session was conducted on April 25, 2022 with Kakai’s with particular focus on promoting freedom of belief and religion. The discussions revolved around the importance of freedom of religion and belief, the rights to embrace religion, and exercising freedom of religion and belief through the perspective of Kakie’s community in Kirkuk. The activity also intended to address the importance of trust building and social cohesion between different religious components in the province.

The session was held in Kirkuk Governorate with participation of a group of civil activists, university students, clerics and religious experts.

Noteworthy to mention that this activity is part of the JISRA project implemented PFO by Peace and Freedom Organization in partnership with Mensen met een missie the Dutch organization.
