‏In the frame of the JISRA’s project, Peace and Freedom Organization has been conducting a serious of Interfaith Dialogue Sessions in Kirkuk governorate.


‏After organizing the first session with Christians, and the second session with Kakais the third session was conducted on May 29th, 2022 with Muslim with particular focus on promoting freedom of religion and belief, the discussions touched on the importance of freedom of religion and belief, the rights to embrace religion, and exercising freedom of religion and belief through the perspective of Muslim’s community in Kirkuk. The activity also intended to address the importance of trust building and social cohesion between different religious components in the province.

 

‏The session was held in Kirkuk Governorate with participation of a group of civil activists, university students, university teachers, clerics and religious experts.


‏Noteworthy to mention that this activity is part of the JISRA project implemented by PFO Peace and Freedom Organization in partnership with Mensen met een missie the Dutch organization.
