Peace and Freedom Organization participated in a round table for civil society organizations held by Jiyan Foundation for Human Rights on May 23, 2022 in Mosul on the subject of transitional justice.

The session was moderated by a representative of Peace and Freedom Organization as she represented the concept of Restorative Justice, then facilitated
the discussion about the conflict and human rights violations in Nineveh, from youth prospective. Youth discussed the most prominent challenges and opportunities for their role in restorative and transitional justice.

This session is part of the Silm Program for Stability, which is supported and funded by the German GIZ Agency for International Cooperation.

In this field, Peace and Freedom Organization has its initiatives with particular focus on Transformative Justice, in partner with other international organizations in Ninevah plain and Mosul.
