The Peace and Freedom Organization (PFO) held a workshop in Erbil on June 8, 2022, with the participation of relevant institutions of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, trade unions, civil society organizations, and workers.

The activity is part of the workers’ rights project that PFO is implementing with the cooperation of Norwegian people's aid (NPA).

The objective of the activity was to complete the final draft of the occupational safety and health instruction in the Kurdistan Region.

After the participants have discussed the content of the instruction and made necessary amendments, it is anticipated that the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs will issue and implement the revised instruction.
