Peace and Freedom Organization-PFO held a training workshop for the strategic communication in Erbil for three days, 28-30 July / 2022, within the project of the joint initiative for strategic religious action (JISRA). The workshop worked to build the participants’ capacities in strategic communication.


The session clarified that the (JISRA) project is a joint initiative for strategic religious action that works to promote the freedom of religion and belief and build peace and community cohesion.


On the other hand, the session focused on communication mechanisms, and planning for the types and methods of selecting the cooperating audience to promote freedom of religion and belief.


The session included most of the components of Kirkuk society, including Muslims, Christians, Baha'is, Sabians, Kaka'i within deferent career teachers, students, activists, religion leaders and media professionals.
The session was characterized by constructive realistic dialogues by presenting the reality of society and the proposed axes of action.


Noteworthy to mention that this activity is part of JISRA project is implemented by Peace and Freedom Organization-PFO in partnership with the Dutch Organization Mensen met een Missie.
