As part of its workers' Rights Project, Peace and Freedom Organization organized a three-day training for NGOs' activists with the aim of training a number of trainers in the field of occupational safety and health which a recent subject focused on by NGOs.

After enshrining the right to a safe and healthy working environment as a fundamental principle in the 1998 ILO Universal Declaration, organizations need to take initiatives in this area to realize this right for workers.

The course lasted three days between August 4 and 6, 2022 in Sulaimani, participants from all regions of the Kurdistan participated in it.
