On the Aug 24, 25 in Al-Zubair District, 26, 27 in Al-Qurnah District, 28, 29 in Abi Al-Khaseeb District, Peace and Freedom Organization (PFO) with the partnership of the International Labor Organization ILO Within the framework of the: ((Working conditions and farm level interventions development in agriculture in Iraq)) project and with support European Union; successfully conducted three two-day sessions in three agricultural areas in Basra Governorate.

In each of these places, 15 landowners, agricultural workers, members of farmers' unions of both genders participated in discussions, suggestions, and answers to questions in the form of a proposed checklist related to the provisions of the Labor Law in Iraq.

This list aims to improve working conditions, employment, protection of the rights of workers and farmers in the agricultural sector under the provisions of the Labor Law in Iraq.
