
Within a series of intra-religious sessions with all religions and components of Kirkuk society, and within the framework of the project (JISRA) joint initiative for strategic religious action. Peace and Freedom Organization-PFO held a session within religions.
 
After holding a number of sessions with Christians, Muslims, Kaka'is and Sabaeans, the second session was held on September 11, 2022 with Muslims, where the session focused on promoting freedom of belief and religion, and discussions revolved around the importance of freedom of religion and belief, and reducing extremism and hate speech within religion. The session also aimed to address the importance of building trust and social cohesion within religion and the various religious components in the province.
The session was held in Kirkuk province with the participation of civic activists, university professors, clerics, and youth male female.
It is worth mentioning that this activity is part of a joint initiative project for strategic religious action (JISRA) implemented by Peace and Freedom Organization-PFO in partnership with the Dutch organization Mensen met een Missie.
