Peace and Freedom organization was officially invited by the German consulate general in Erbil to meet with a delegation from the German parliament, consisting of a number of parliament members from the Social Democratic Party. During the meeting on September 14, 2022, the state of press freedoms and the work of civil society organizations were addressed.

The participants of the meeting importantly discussed the German government’s support for the continuation of civil society and institutions in the Kurdistan region.
