Peace and Freedom Organization in partnership with for peace the Dutch Organization held the final conference of the Energizing Reform Project. The project aimed to reviewing drafts and laws.

In the three-year energizing reform project studied two draft laws on the protection of persons from enforced disappearance, and the protection of diversity and the prevention of discrimination, where the team of citizens from Nineveh Governorate, Mosul City and Hamdaniya District, carried out many activities to review these drafts and through them came up with a set of recommendations and suggestions.

Whereas, the conference was held in Erbil on September 23, 2022 in the presence of a number of the Iraqi parliament member, civil society organizations, legal specialists and civil activists.

The conference came up with a set of recommendations and suggestions that enrich and enhance the drafts of protection of persons from enforced disappearance and the protection of diversity and the prevention of discrimination with a range of rights and privileges.
