
As part of a series of inter-religious dialogue sessions of the project of a joint initiative for strategic religious action (JISRA), Peace and Freedom Organization-PFO in partnership with a Dutch organization held the first of the inter-religious dialogue sessions in Kirkuk.
The session was held in Kirkuk Governorate on September 27, 2022, where various religions and components of Kirkuk society participated in the session, including Muslims, Kakai Christians, Sabaeans of various professions and disciplines, university students, university professors, tribal sheikhs, clerics and civil activists.
The discussions revolved around the importance of peaceful coexistence and what the obstacles are that prevent acceptance and understanding of others in society and how to find appropriate solutions to build a peaceful society.
Noteworthy to mention that (JISRA) project is implemented by Peace and Freedom Organization-PFO in partnership with Mensen met een Missie the Dutch organization.
