During the past days, six days of intensive training were carried out on international laws and conventions, especially those supported by the International Labor Organization, on the labor law in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, and on the social security law. The three axes were divided into three days of sequential training and included an agenda Every day one of the axes.
This training was carried out in Basra on the 13th, 14th, and 15th and in Dohuk on the 16th, 17th and 18th of this month. The training was supervised by local trainers/experts in the three axes. The participants were farmers, agricultural workers, farm owners, members of agricultural cooperatives, and members of voluntary committees on farms.
Participants actively participated in both trainings, engaged in serious discussions on these topics during group work and individual participation, and provided many opinions and ideas as suggestions to improve their legal working conditions and livelihoods.
