Peace and Freedom Organization in collaboration with ILO conducted a three-day training in Kalkchin district from 20 to 22 October 2022 with the participation of 50 women and men farmers in the area.

The training included thirty themes; divided into three-day training;

First / Occupational Health and Safety

Second/ gender equality in agriculture

Third / Principles of Trade Unions

These subjects were conducted by a professional trainer, and on the last day each participant received a professional safety bag containing several tools and supplies.

This activity was part of the International Labor Organization (ILO) project: (Working conditions and farm level interventions development in agriculture in Iraq) which is implemented by the PFO and funded by the European Union.
