On March 8, 2023, as part of the Employment Intensive Investment Program (EIIP), a graduation ceremony was held at Erbil Castle for 40 participants, who successfully completed on-the-job skills training in construction and tourism guidance.

The course lasted for 20 days with the aim of improving the skills of the participants in the field of construction, including stone and brick paving in heritage and cultural sites and tour guidance.

This project was implemented by Peace and Freedom Organization in collaboration with the International Labor Organization and UNESCO and in coordination with Erbil Polytechnic University, which was funded by the European Union.
