On March 14, 2023, as part of the JISRA project, the Peace and Freedom Organization (PFO) and CAPNI jointly organized an inter-religious session aimed at promoting understanding and respect for FoRB (Freedom of Religion or Belief) within the three areas of project implementation.

The participants comprised religious leaders, academics, activists, youth, and women from diverse religious backgrounds, including Muslim, Christian, Kakai, Sabean, and Yazidi, who gathered from different areas such as Kirkuk, Nineveh plain, and Sheikhan.

During the inter-religious dialogue session, the participants discussed and identified various action points aimed at promoting human rights and social cohesion within the three areas. It is worth noting that this project is being collaboratively implemented by the Peace and Freedom Organization and CAPNI, in partnership with three consortium partners.
