PFO met in the fourth week of March 2023 by an official invitation of its international partners, for Peace and Amnesty International.

On 20 March 2023, PFO team met with Amnesty International staff at their head office in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, where the mechanisms of effective partnership between the two parties been discussed, in addition to a contextual analysis of the Iraqi political, social and cultural reality, in addition to the human rights situation in Iraq and violations against rights and freedoms. Then, on 21-22 March 2023, Peace Organization carried out a two-day joint workshop in Utrecht, the Netherlands with PFO.

The first day focused on the and Peace and Freedom Joint Project entitled "Transformative Justice in Nineveh", and the ToC “theory of change” was reformulated and the priorities and objectives of the project were determined according to the current context and reality of Nineveh Governorate.

As for the second day, the two parties discussed mechanisms to strengthen the strategic partnership and ways to deal with changes in the Iraqi social and political context in particular.
