Nineveh Plain - Batnaya, May 13, 2023 - The musical and theater concert, organized under the esteemed 'Durable Communities and Economic Opportunities' Tahfeez project, brought together a captivating showcase of talent and cultural revival. The event, funded by USAID and implemented by the Peace and Freedom Organization, marked a significant milestone in fostering community unity and providing economic opportunities for the youth in the region.

 

Over the past six months, participants dedicated themselves to extensive training in theater show and musical instruments, including the guitar, violin, and piano, under the guidance of skilled trainers. This period of intensive preparation allowed the artists, aged between 12 to 29, to showcase their artistic abilities and demonstrate their creativity, dedication, and passion.

 

The concert took place on May 13, 2023, in Nineveh Plain - Batnaya, serving as a platform to revive traditional music from musical plays and promote cooperation, cohesion, peace, heritage, and identity through the theater show.
