On May 16th, the Peace and Freedom Organization organized an interreligious dialogue in Kirkuk within the project joint initiative for strategic religious action (JISRA), involving various religions. The primary objective of the dialogue was to address the challenges and difficulties faced by the community in relation to religious coexistence.

Religious leaders, activists, and academics actively participated in the dialogue, seeking ways to mitigate these challenges.

The discussions centered around promoting peacebuilding and fostering social cohesion among the different religions within the community.

It is worth mentioning that the Peace and Freedom Organization (PFO) is implementing this project in partnership with Mensen met een Missie (MM) the Dutch organization.
