
On June 26-27, a group of young people from different religions carried out a participatory camp that brought together young people from Kirkuk governorate.
On the first day, the activities of the camp were opened with a meeting session and then a discussion about the goals that young people seek in their practical and social life.
He linked the objectives of the camp to the JISRA project and its objectives, which focus on tolerance and cohesion between different components and religions, which distinguishes the province of Kirkuk, which brings together many religions and sects.
The youth discussed the challenges and mechanisms to address them from the perspective of youth, especially values related to the exercise of freedom of religion and belief. The youth stressed the importance of combating and reducing negative phenomena and false stereotypes that are reinforced by societal misconceptions that in turn reinforce hate speech.
During the second day, the camp included entertainment and educational activities in which young people from different religions participated side by side, which contributes to enhancing communication and understanding between young people from different components in the governorate.
