Within the "Women's Voices First" program, and within the "Young Women's Voices" project, Peace and Freedom Organization conduct a two-day training workshop on July 30th & 31st, 2023 in Erbil.

The workshop focused on the two resolutions issued by the United Nations Security Council, where the first day was on UNSCR 1325 related to Women, peace and security, and the second day on UNSCR 2250 related to Youth, peace and security.

Among the objectives of the workshop was to increase the knowledge of young men and women in the field of strengthening the role of women's participation and promoting their voice in the public sphere in Iraq.

the participants were from the governorates of Dohuk, Erbil, Nineveh, Kirkuk, Baghdad and Basra, Peace and Freedom Organization implements this project in partnership with Cordaid the Dutch Organization.
