A dialogue session was held in the Kirkuk city between activists, media figures and journalists from the city about the causes of conflicts between the components and the role of civil society in reducing the severity of conflicts, including within initiatives that enhance social cohesion and promote the safe return and stability of displaced persons.

 

Also had been mentioned several types of ongoing conflicts in Kirkuk in recent years, most of which are national political conflicts and disputed areas.

 

These sessions were implemented within the project to build peace and stability in Iraq din partnership with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) and with the support of FCDO.
