The Voices of Justice Network in Nineveh implemented an initiative entitled (to raise awareness and enhance legal and social awareness of women’s rights) in coordination and cooperation with the community peace team in Bashiqa,

On October 28, 2023, the team distributed awareness brochures in Bashiqa district and some of its affiliated villages.

The content of the brochure talks about the Survivors Law and how to apply? What are the entitlements under the Yazidi Women Survivors Law? To whom does this law apply? Also the stages of completing the prosses.

This initiative comes within the Transformative Justice Project implemented by Peace and Freedom Organization with funding and support from the Dutch PAX organization.
