Peace and_Freedom Organization Voices of Justice in Nineveh Network "Colors of Hope" Team implemented an initiative entitled (Preventing Disasters and Protecting Life) in coordination and cooperation with the Directorate of Civil Defense in Tel Kayf District and the General Directorate of Nineveh Education.

On November 7, 2023, the Colors of Hope team carried out an awareness and training campaign for male and female students in schools in the Telkaif district on how to behave during a fire and how to prevent it, to raise students’ awareness of the dangers of fires.

The team also distributed brochures about the necessary steps to follow during fires.

The initiative also includes solidarity stances by male and female students of Tilkeif with their brothers and sisters in the Hamdaniya district.

This initiative comes within the Transformative Justice Project implemented by Peace and Freedom Organization with funding and support from the Dutch organization PAX.
