On Nov 18, 2023, Peace and Freedom Organization held a dialogue session among the returnees in the Saadiya district - Diyala, about promoting cohesion between returnees from forced displacement with their community and also learning about their suggestions for community initiatives and solutions to improve community cohesion in the city.

The participants also focused on discussing the issue of compensation and damaged property, as well as the reasons for the complexity of the procedures and the long period of compensation procedures.

This session was implemented within the project to building peace and stability in Iraq, in partnership with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) and with support from FCDO.
