As part of the JISRA Project the Peace and Freedom Organization-PFO conducted a session on February 24, 2024, bringing together all components of Kirkuk's community.

The session aimed to plan a collective action mechanism involving various community components, including youth and women.

The session resulted in a set of recommendations on how to integrate the community with governmental institutions to work towards promoting concepts of religious freedom, belief, and peace-building within the society.

Participants in the session included religious figures, civil activists, as well as youth and women from different religious backgrounds including Muslim, Christian, Kakai, and Sabae in Kirkuk Province.

It is worth mentioning that the Peace and Freedom Organization-PFO is implementing this project in partnership with a Dutch organization Mensen met een Missie-MM.
