In Ankawa, Erbil, on February 22, 2024, Peace and Freedom Organization hosted a workshop uniting young male and female activists from Shikhan. The workshop's objective was to pinpoint the youth's main interests and channel their passions and skills into promoting religious freedom, peaceful coexistence, and a peace-building culture through projects and grants led by the district's youth.

Sustainable Ventures for Religious and Belief Freedom

After the workshop, the Peace and Freedom Organization inked three agreements with volunteer teams in Shikhan to back these teams and execute sustainable projects focusing on enhancing religious freedom, peaceful coexistence, and a peace-building ethos.

Youth Engagement at its Peak

Over 20 young individuals from diverse parts of the Shikhan district engaged in the workshop. Participants voiced their joy in taking part in this event and collaborating with the Peace and Freedom Organization to implement projects fostering a peaceful and harmonious community.
