On May 24, 2024 Peace and Freedom Organization held a a workshop in Erbil about the Universal Periodic Review with the participation of heads of trade union federations and specialists in the field of workers' rights from the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.

The workshop focused on discussing the status of workers' rights and freedom of syndication work and highlighting the challenges and opportunities for workers' rights in line with local and international laws by recommendations in this regard within the Universal Periodic Review.

The workshop is part of the project to promote workers' rights and freedom of association, which is implemented by the Peace and Charity Organization in partnership with the Norwegian People's Aid.
