Coinciding with the International Workers' Day, Peace and Freedom Organization supported a group of young workers in the governorates of Baghdad, Kirkuk and Diwaniyah to impliment advocacy campaigns aiming at raiseng awareness about the rights of workers and important merginalized groups of the working class, the campaigns included awareness sessions and visits to the governmental authorities with the aim of raising awareness and advocate for taking the necessary measures in order to guarantee workers' rights and freedom of syndication.

These campaigns are implemented within promoting workers' rights and freedom of syndication project, which is implemented by Peace and Freedom Organization in partnership with nowrwegian peoples organization
