On June 27 - 29, 2024, Peace and Freedom Organization in Erbil organized training for a group of young men and women from Kirkuk, Diyala (Jalawla, Al-Saadiya and Buhriz).

The training focused on the concepts and mechanisms for monitoring and documenting societal issues and stories, the foundations and components of working on societal issues, and choosing topics to write about and documenting it in the form of jurnalist stories consisting of the title, introduction, and body of the story. Training was also conducted on mechanisms for collecting information for community stories and workpaln, noting that after the end of the workshop, community stories will be written and documented by the participants.

This training workshop is part of the project Building Peace and Stability in Iraq in partnership with the International Rescue Committee IRC and with the support of FCDO.
