On September 29, 2024, the People and Freedom Organization organized an awareness session on the status of civil society in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region. This session included representatives from various non-governmental entities, specifically from civil society organizations, writers, academics, journalists, as well as researchers and critics.
The session focused on a comprehensive study of civil society, including its history, development, and legal aspects. The event brought together 25 representatives from different non-governmental organizations, facilitating a fruitful dialogue on the vital role of civil society in our communities.
The study was presented by the People and Freedom Organization, with valuable support from UPP and funding from the European Union. Participants actively engaged, exchanging opinions and perspectives that enriched the discussion.
