On 27/10/2024, in a distinctive initiative carrying a message of brotherhood and peaceful coexistence, the Parsa Organization for Sustainable Development organized a visit to Lalish Temple in the Shikhan district, attended by twenty individuals representing various ethnic and religious components in Kirkuk. The delegations included youth, media representatives, and activists from Arabs, Kurds, Turkmen, Chaldeans, Assyrians, Mandaeans, and Kakai, who gathered on this historic visit to build bridges of love and peace and enhance mutual understanding among the components of the Kirkuki community.

Open Dialogue Inside the Temple:
After being warmly welcomed by the Yazidi community, the participants were divided into three groups: one of youth, another of media representatives, and a third of activists, to provide greater opportunities for interaction among participants and cultural exchange. Inside the corridors of Lalish Temple, which is a spiritual and sacred center for followers of the Yazidi faith, an open dialogue was held for two hours, during which the teachings and principles of this religion, which calls for tolerance and coexistence, were presented.

During the session, attendees expressed their admiration for the Yazidi community's openness and their constant willingness to communicate, while participants emphasized the importance of such initiatives that aim to deepen the understanding of different religions and enhance mutual respect. They also pointed out the pivotal role of media representatives and youth in raising societal awareness about shared human values and praised the importance of religious dialogue in breaking barriers and alleviating tensions.

Message of Peace:
After the visit, participants expressed their desire to intensify efforts to convey the message of peace and coexistence that they carried with them from Lalish Temple. They shared their feelings about the depth of the experience they underwent. These campaigns aim to highlight the importance of social cohesion and raise awareness about the values of shared living, in addition to affirming that Kirkuk, with all its components, is a rich fabric that enhances the unity and strength of the nation.

Conclusion of the Visit and Its Impact on Strengthening Ties Between Components:
This visit comes at a time when the importance of such activities that bring together youth and activists from various spectrums is increasing.
