Erbil, November 14, 2024 – Peace and Freedom Organization, in partnership with Iraq Human Rights Watch Society, organized an extensive seminar in Erbil to discuss the reality of work for civil society organizations.The seminar was part of the "Tatweer 2" program, implemented by UPP organization in partnership with local organizations including Al-Masala Organization, Najah Center for Training and Development and Shaqofyan Development and Culture Organization and funded by the European Union.
The seminar was attended by several prominent figures, including the Deputy Director of the NGO Department in Erbil, a representative from the Social Security Directorate, as well as a representative from the Integrity Commission in Erbil, also participation of a number of academics, civil society activists, and representatives from various NGOs.
The seminar featured several sessions addressing various topics, including the challenges faced by NGOs and future prospects for improving the operational environment for organizations
