As part of the project "Counteracting Disinformation Generated by Artificial Intelligence," financially supported by the U.S. Consulate General-Erbil, the Peace and Freedom Organization organized a training course in Erbil for 25 journalists and university students. The participants included both male and female students and journalists from various cities and towns across the Kurdistan Region and Kirkuk governorate. The course ran for three days, beginning on November 30 and concluding on December 2, 2024.
The course aimed to build the capacity of journalists and media students from various universities, equipping them to participate in campaigns to counter disinformation generated by Artificial Intelligence.
