At the initiative of the Peace and Freedom Organization and with the participation of members of the Jisra Project from all religious and ethnic components in the Sheikhan District, today, Friday, December 20, 2024, congratulations and blessings were extended to the Yazidi brothers and sisters in the Sheikhan District on the occasion of the Eid al-Fitr. Brother Hazem Beyk, the Emir of the Yazidis, and Mian Khatun, and a number of important figures and leaders of the local community in the Sheikhan District and its outskirts, and a large number of Yazidi families in the region were visited.
Representatives of all religious and ethnic components in the region participated in the visit, due to its great importance in strengthening bridges of trust and social cohesion in the region.
This initiative comes within the Jisra Project (Joint Initiative for Religious Strategic Action) in partnership with the Search for Common Ground Organization.
