Ms. Dhamiya Mohammed Jassim, Director of the Office of the High Commission for Human Rights in Kirkuk Governorate, received a delegation from the Peace and Freedom Organization in Kirkuk, during which a joint cooperation agreement was signed between the two sides.
The agreement aims to develop prospects for cooperation in promoting the values and concepts of human rights within society, as well as strengthening joint efforts in the areas of awareness-raising, monitoring, and capacity building.
For her part, the Director of the Office affirmed that this agreement comes within the framework of the Commission’s support for civil society organizations, considering them genuine partners in the protection and promotion of human rights.
At the conclusion of the meeting, representatives of the Peace and Freedom Organization expressed their satisfaction with the signing of the agreement, praising the efforts of the High Commission for Human .
