Through interactive discussions and knowledge-sharing, participants explored opportunities and challenges related to implementing Resolution 2250 in the Kurdistan Region, emphasizing the meaningful participation of young people in planning, decision-making, and government institutions.
A key focus of the session was the importance of developing a comprehensive, needs-based plan tailored to the specific context and priorities of the Kurdistan Region. Participants highlighted the vital need for jobs and economic opportunities for young people, as well as ensuring equal opportunity and non-discrimination.
Participants discussed the need for a clear, coordinated partnership between the government, civil society, and international organizations to translate national strategic priorities into concrete actions at the regional level, manage risks, and ensure the effective implementation of Resolution 2250 across the Kurdistan Region.
