
In the midst of electoral contests and free and fair elections, an ambitious non-governmental, non-profit, Iraqi network has emerged, formed by a group of Iraqi civil society organizations working to improve the realities of the democratic environment and develop and promote human rights principles.
Namely: (the watchdog network for election monitoring and democracy)
It was established on February 14, 2018 - Baghdad, which includes 16 organizations from all over Iraq. The purpose of its establishment is to apply the principles and concepts of democracy according to international standards, including the elections. The ballot box is a true expression of the opinions, democracy.
The internal structure of the network, which is composed of the constituent body, the public body and the board of directors, has been established and approved, and the rules of procedure of the network by its constituent body and setting the vision and goals as follows:
Vision: Towards a fair election and the promotion of democracy
Goals:
1. Monitor the electoral process
2. Contribute to the development of the electoral system
3. Capacity building in the field of elections
4. Monitor and monitor the course of democracy
The Board of Directors consists of 7 members representing their organizations:
1. Peace and Freedom Organization

7. Future Center for Studies and Research
• The Board of Directors decided at the first meeting (No. 1) on 14/2/2018 after the founding conference to invite all civil society organizations not affiliated with other networks to join the General Authority of the network.
