As part of the Local Peace Committees Project, the Second Community Meeting was held in Mosul on 29/8/2019

The meeting was attended by Ghazwan Daoudi, a member of Nineveh Provincial Council and Chairman of the Committee of Organizations and Human Rights, and delivered a speech on strengthening relations in Nineveh province and ways to build peace and peaceful coexistence.

Nadia al-Jubouri, Director of the Women and Children Section of the Ninewa Provincial Office, also addressed the importance of women's participation in peacebuilding and decision-making processes.

The meeting included a number of paragraphs, including success stories for women from Mosul who demonstrated their abilities in the field of work, as well as the opening of a dialogue session between the representative of the local government, Mr. Ghazwan Daoudi and attendees

The folklore was played by the folklore of Mosli on the violin of the creator Fadel Al-Badri. The meeting was attended by a number of community leaders, tribal elders, civil organizations and activists.
