The Mayor of Mosul district, Zuhair Al-Araji met this morning with the advocacy team of the Peace and Freedom Organization within the project Local Peace Committees in Nineveh, these committees are located in four centers: Mosul district, Al-Hamdaniya, Bashiqa and Bartella.

In this meeting, the preparation of the strategic planning study was discussed for topics of common concern, and the most important challenges facing the implementation of the strategy, as well as a focus on recommendations on the issue of opening a sub-committee to compensate the affected people in the Nineveh Plain.
