Peace and Freedom in partnership with the Baghdad Women's Association and the Emergency al-Rusafa Team (Elite Team) in the Directorate of Civil Defense Ending the first campaign in Sadr City where PFO ended the first sterilizing campaign in Al - Sadr City that included sectors 10, 56 and 57. Sergio de Mello SIRT staff team, completed the implementation of the joint plan by sterilizing the three sectors mentioned above, where #PFO team and Al-Rusafa Emergency Department at the Civil Defense Directorate began the tasks of the plan at 4:00 a.m. and continued until 8:30 a.m.

 

The framework of this partnership contributed to the implementation of this campaign, which is the first on the list of partnership with "Baghdad Women's Association", where the association provided the team Sergio de Mello all the required quantities of sterilization materials, which included sodium hypochlorite with a concentration of 4.5 %.

 

The cadres that working in the field faced difficulties that had serious nature, which was the lack of commitment of citizens to any aspect of prevention through social spacing, as the social environment affected the cadres negatively due to the crowded places that is full of people, also the urban design of the city led to the difficulties of entering the narrow alleys the working teams were able to contain at the end.

 

 

The civil defense centers in Al-Azamiyah, Yarmouk, Jihad, Karrada and Al-Husseinia also contributed directly to supporting the campaign by providing pelvic cars and spraying equipment such as machinery and mechanical disinfectant compressors. Major General Kazem Mohan, Director of General Civil Defense in the Republic of Iraq presented while implementing the campaign, as well as officers from the General Directorate of Civil Defense, during which he confirmed and requested to convey a message to all civil society organizations through PFO to support the efforts of the Directorate and its cadres to respond to the new outbroke waves of coronavirus.
