The advocacy team of the Peace and Freedom Organization, after a year and a half of work, follow-up and continuous effort, in cooperation with the First Deputy Governor of Nineveh, Mr. Sirwan Al-Rochibiani, obtains approval to open a sub-committee for the affected people in the Nineveh.

After a meeting that took place on August 23, 2020 in the office of the First Deputy Governor of Nineveh with the advocacy team in the Peace and Freedom Organization, it was attended by the heads of the administrative units in the Nineveh Plain, the Mayor of Talkif, the director of Bashiqa district, and the assistants of the Governor of Nineveh, Rifat Shamo and Ali Omar Kabu

In the presence of the representative of the Commission for Human Rights, the Nineveh office

It was agreed to open the committee in Bashiqa sub-district, and to be between the Talkif and al-Hamdaniya districts

And in appreciation of everyone's efforts at work, the Peace and Freedom Organization and the Advocacy Team in Nineveh Governorate would like to thank and appreciate the efforts made by the First Deputy Governor of Nineveh, the assistants of the Governor of Nineveh, the Mayor of Talkif, the Director of Bashiqa district and the Office of the High Commission for Human Rights in Nineveh, and all of the men who contributed with it.
